I originally joined Topmate to speak with people navigating graduate school and product careers, and was eventually recognized as a Top 1% mentor on the platform.

Over time, the conversations shifted as my own career did. Today, I run free 1:1 office hours for people trying to land their first Product Manager role in the US, covering everything from positioning and networking to interview preparation and deciding what to do next.

It’s intentionally informal. Sometimes someone needs a strategy. Sometimes they need feedback on a résumé. Sometimes they mostly need another person who has been through the process to tell them which parts deserve their energy.

I’ve learned that useful mentorship is rarely about having all the answers. It’s often about helping someone ask a better question.
