Thirteen countries, one campus, and a very early lesson in bringing people together.

As part of the Mysore chapter, I helped organize a Global Village event that brought participants from 13 countries together to share their cultures, stories, and hometowns.

We worked with local businesses and communities around Mysore to promote the event and eventually welcomed 350+ people.

I probably wouldn’t have called it “community building” then. It was just exciting to create something people wanted to show up for.
